Barb Reece, MSN, RN is an executive coach and President of Development Matters, LLC.

Her focus is on professional and leadership development, team building, performance management, career transitions, and work-life balance. Her clients report improvement in their ability to SUCCESSFULLY ADAPT to their changing professional and personal lives.


  • Barb is a graduate of the Gestalt Institute of Organization and Systems Development Executive Coach program, an ICF (International Coaching Federation) accredited program. She has been a Registered Nurse for 40 years, with about 32 years in leadership positions. Specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, she has worked with clients in individual, family and group settings. Her additional training and experience in psychiatric nursing has proven critical in providing skilled coaching to her clients. She has personally experienced the challenges of transition and finding PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL BALANCE. Her extensive work history has furnished her with an understanding of the complexities of health care.


Barb has held leadership positions at: The Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals of Cleveland, St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, and Visiting Nurse Association of Ohio.
